Smart Globalisation:The case for a robust and creative distributive justice

to be given by Fr Albino Barrera OP on Friday 24th February at Blackfriars Hall.  The lecture will start at 5pm, and will be followed by a reception.

Fr Barrera is a Professor of Economics and Theology at Providence College, and author of Economic Compulsion and Christian EthicsGod and the Evil of Scarcity: Moral Foundations of Economic Agency, and Globalization and Economic Ethics: Distributive Justice in the Knowledge Economy.  He holds a degree in Industrial Management Engineering from De La Salle University in the Philippines, a Licentiate in Sacred Theology from the Dominican House of Studies in Washington DC, and a doctorate in Economics from Yale University.
