Herbert McCabe died in 2001. He published three books during his lifetime but a
further six have now been published from the papers he left behind. The
colloquium will focus on his work of re-presenting Thomas Aquinas in relation to
contemporary philosophies, illustrated by McCabe’s use of Wittgenstein in
developing his accounts of God, creation, and sacramental language.
